We have a very comprehensive Fly Shop at the ranch catering to the spring creek angler.
Flies- We carry flies in sizes 16-26. Our patterns are spring creek specific, to include representations of the emergent, dun and cripple stages of our prolific hatches of caddis, mayfly and midge. We carry flies from Umpqua, Solitude and Riverborne fly companies. We also carry the Brooks patterns. Flies, designed and developed right here on ranch waters by expert angler and tier, Bob Brooks.
Leader and tippet- We carry Rio and Umpqua leader and tippet. We've found them to best accommodate our technical, and often times windy conditions. These leaders allow for a good presentation yet still turn the fly over, without a splash. NEW THIS YEAR, we will carry Rio's hand tied leaders. Without doubt, this is the best dry fly leader we have found, to date.
Fly fisherman's accessories- We carry hemostats, nippers, zingers, fly boxes, line cleaner, dry and liquid floatants as well as sunscreen, lip cover, insect repellant and film. Yes, we have charcoal.
Ranch logo shirts, hats, and tee-shirts- We have a very nice selection of fly fisherman's long sleeve lightweight breathable shirts by Sportif, with the Hot Creek logo. We have ball caps in four color selections with the new Hot Creek logo. We also will have a new tee-shirt, in two colors featuring the new logo.
Fishing advice, suggestions, and guide service- We will continue to put out a weekly ranch fishing report. We will gladly take your calls regarding the hatch, what flies are working, and whatever other fishing related questions you may have. We are here to help, and will be available throughout the day to assist you in the shop, or on the stream. We can provide guide service, upon request.
